If there is one thing that a lot of people all around the world including myself do in the morning,
Do whenever we’re tired,
Do whenever we need a pick-me-up..
You can be sure as hell
Is that we make ourselves a cup of coffee
Coffee smells terribly delicious.
It can certainly give us a jolt of energy.
But how far can that jolt of energy last?
A short term fix can only stick around for 6-10 hours tops.
But when that boost runs out
We’ll be crashing down hard
And be right back to where we started
Lethargic, listless, and groggy
Or even worse than we were before.
On top of all that,
We can bet that getting sleep later in the night
Will be a very tough job to do.
Only to wake up the next morning
Feeling the same way as we did before yesterday’s cup of joe
If we continue to do it.
