I won’t judge
But are you one of those blokes
Who have a tough time keeping off the pounds
Whenever they lose weight?
Those guys who commit to a strict and boring diet-exercise regime
Like a soldier preparing for war
They’re either doing keto or paleo
Intermittent fasting
Or something as silly as the potato diet
On top of the hours and hours they clock in for cardio and weights
They’ll lose the weight for a time
Only to gain it back at the slightest misstep in their diet.
That one or two days missed in their workouts or fat burner supplements
And when they’re back at where they started
Some guys will throw in the towel
While others will do it all again
They’ll take on the hard way again because “It worked for them before.”
But it’s really like they’ve fallen down the ladder only to hurl a rope back to the top.
Just when they can take the stairs
Just when there’s a more sustainable and manageable way
To get back to their ideal weight
But whether they gave up or tried again
Weight loss or maintaining low body fat has made them feel hopeless
And that shouldn’t be the case.
There is a way to stay in the low body fat spectrum
Without the mundane, without torture
